Motafrenz is for everyone!

While our focus is the LGBTIQA+ motoring community, everyone is welcome – you will find us friendly and inclusive. Come along to an event and meet us – you don’t have to be a member first.
We’re all about social events. Our monthly drives are a great way to meet people. We have at least one drive every month on a weekend, along with our monthly committee meetings, drive and take away nights & slot cars. We also plan long weekends away, 4WD days, and attend car shows across the state.
We’re also one of the cheapest car clubs around – $50 per year for individuals and $65 for a family membership.

Don’t have a classic car? We are not a typical car club. We are not aligned to one particular make, model or age of vehicle.

Our member’s vehicles range from veteran & vintage cars to post-war classics, modern cars, sports cars, 4WD vehicles and popular everyday vehicles. Some members also have motorbikes, caravans, commercial vehicles, trucks and buses.

We are not all about the technicalities of cars. You do not need a special or classic car or any knowledge of mechanics.

We are affiliated with the Association of Motoring Clubs (AOMC) – the peak body for car clubs in Victoria – and the Federation of Veteran, Vintage & Classic Car Clubs of Victoria (Federation).

We are registered with VicRoads Club Permit Scheme – so if you have a car which is 25 years or older, and you plan to use it less than 90 days a year, we can save you hundreds of dollars every year on rego and insurance. Find out more about our Permit Scheme here.
